They are carried out on an appropriately selected group of probands, as required\/supervised by a dermatologist.<\/p>

If necessary, other specialists are also involved in the research. This makes it possible to test a wide variety of characteristics of a product. In turn, the test subjects participating in the study do not have to worry about their health.<\/p>

The wide-ranging capabilities also allow research to be carried out under the supervision of other doctors.
Application (in-use) tests are designed to confirm the functional properties of the test preparation.<\/p>

Apparatus testing of the skin is carried out in order to obtain objective results from usability tests,
which confirm the effectiveness of the tested preparations.<\/p>

In the course of these studies, a group of selected individuals assesses the preparation in question, allowing a subjective evaluation, but the results of the instrumental analysis are equally important. The non-invasive methods used in instrumental analysis allow for an objective assessment of the performance of the preparations tested.<\/p>

Instrumental analysis provides extremely valuable information about the product under investigation,
based on the measurement of various skin parameters, such as: <\/strong><\/p>

Moisture measurement:<\/strong> We assess the skin's ability to retain moisture, which is key to its health and appearance.<\/p>

Sebum analysis:<\/strong> We measure the level of oiliness of the skin, which helps to evaluate products designed for oily and combination skin.<\/p>

Pore characteristics:<\/strong> We examine the size and condition of the pores, which allows us to assess the effectiveness of products that cleanse and tighten pores.<\/p>

Flexibility and firmness:<\/strong> We assess how products affect the elasticity and tone of the skin, which is particularly important for anti-ageing cosmetics.<\/p>

Discolouration:<\/strong> We analyse melanin and erythhema (redness) levels, which helps to assess the effectiveness of brightening and discolouration-reducing products.<\/p>

TEWL (transepidermal water loss):<\/strong> We measure transepidermal water loss, which is an indicator of the skin barrier.<\/p>
