Application research process:

Research apparatus skins
Apparatus testing of the skin is carried out in order to obtain objective results from usability tests,
which confirm the effectiveness of the tested preparations.
In the course of these studies, a group of selected individuals assesses the preparation in question, allowing a subjective evaluation, but the results of the instrumental analysis are equally important. The non-invasive methods used in instrumental analysis allow for an objective assessment of the performance of the preparations tested.
Instrumental analysis provides extremely valuable information about the product under investigation,
based on the measurement of various skin parameters, such as:
Moisture measurement: We assess the skin's ability to retain moisture, which is key to its health and appearance.
Sebum analysis: We measure the level of oiliness of the skin, which helps to evaluate products designed for oily and combination skin.
Pore characteristics: We examine the size and condition of the pores, which allows us to assess the effectiveness of products that cleanse and tighten pores.
Flexibility and firmness: We assess how products affect the elasticity and tone of the skin, which is particularly important for anti-ageing cosmetics.
Discolouration: We analyse melanin and erythhema (redness) levels, which helps to assess the effectiveness of brightening and discolouration-reducing products.
TEWL (transepidermal water loss): We measure transepidermal water loss, which is an indicator of the skin barrier.
Wrinkles: We perform 3D visualisation of wrinkles, which allows us to accurately assess the effects of anti-wrinkle cosmetics.
